Do you know someone that will be out of the country on Election Day Nov 3rd? If they are out of the country due to Military service, work, studying abroad or visiting family but they intend to return they can complete a Federal Post Card Application (FPCA) and vote securely via BallotSafe through our office. They can use this link Mississippi FPCA to complete the application and send to our office. DEADLINE: OCTOBER 5TH (In order to vote in the 2020 November General Election) Click here yallvote.ms to see if you are registered. If not - click here voter registration form for an application and mail it in making sure it is to us by October 5th or come by our office at 250 Broad St., Suite 1 at the Courthouse in Columbia no later than 5:00 pm on October 5th.
Dear voter, Due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic, it is difficult to maintain the proper social distancing guidelines established by the State of Mississippi in the following locations: Carley, Cedar Grove, Goss, Jefferson, Pine Burr and Union. The Election Commissioners, Circuit Clerk and Board of Supervisors have identified temporary voting locations for this upcoming election so that we will be in compliance with social distancing guidelines. Please note: This is a temporary change for this November 3rd General Election only. For details on each polling location change, please click on Voting Page and click on the link for your precinct. Wednesday, August 5, 2020 County Board of Education: Qualifying Period Begins Friday, September 4, 2020 5:00 p.m., County Board of Education Qualifying Deadline Monday, October 5, 2020 - General Election Voter Registration Deadline: Applicants who register in-person in the Circuit Clerk’s office today and those who mail registration applications postmarked no later than today are eligible to vote in the General Election. (Miss. Code Ann. § 23-15-47) Monday, September 21, 2020 Absentee Ballots Available: Earliest day to vote by an absentee ballot in the Circuit Clerk’s Office in the General Election. (Miss. Code Ann. § 23-15-715) Tuesday, November 3, 2020 - GENERAL ELECTION and REGULAR SPECIAL ELECTION DAY: Polls open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 7:00 p.m. (Miss. Code Ann. § 23-15-833)
